Verb’s 2025 Bay Area Yarn Crawl Bundle – PREORDER

We are so excited for the second annual Bay Area Yarn Crawl!

To celebrate, we have created a new 2025 Crawl Colorway and Bundle. This new color, naturally dyed with indigo in our Oakland studio, is named Ripple Effect after our love for the San Francisco Bay and the interconnectedness we all share.

Jasper and I love to walk at the Berkeley Marina. I go to clear my head. Watching Jasper frolic through the grasses, with a little spring in his step, gives me great joy and also puts a little spring in my step! While we walk, the wild grasses blowing in the bay breeze, we see little birds eating seeds, chirping, flying through the air, and even little snails in their shells slowly moving along. Across the Bay, in the distance is San Francisco, the shape of the skyline reminding us of our little place in the world. 

These photos of Jasper and the Bay inspired this year’s colorway – featuring gentle swells of soft indigo blue to mirror the sky and water, coupled with greens mimicking the hues found across the lush Spring green grasses. Flecks of gold and rusty brown represent the wild grasses, the sun’s rays reflecting off of them, and Jasper running through them.

(For those of you visiting the Bay Area, we highly recommend taking a walk at the Marina. It is a wonderful place for a picnic!)

In this bundle, you will receive the following yarn:
Floating (choose 1 or 2 skeins), 70% Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere, 437 yards / 100 g
OR
Nibble (choose 1 or 2 skeins), 100% California Fine Wool, 200 yards / 50g – Nibble is a fingering weight yarn, made of fine wool grown in Santa Barbara, where the sheep’s sole purpose is to help with wildfire suppression.

And, you will receive:
+ 1 organic cotton project bag with a special illustration created by our co-worker, Shawn, and inspired by these photos of Jasper and the Bay
+ 3-4 additional goodies inspired by the Bay – we have some cute ideas up our sleeve that you will not want to miss!
