Works like a thimble…feels like a dream.
That’s the company tagline – not sure if that is exactly how we would describe wearing any kind of thimble, as wearing a thimble does take some getting used to – but these sure are a nice alternative and complement to a metal thimble. This is one of Kristine’s favorite sewing tools when stitching Alabama Chanin garments or quilting by hand. She wears a metal thimble on her forefinger, and the ThimblePad on her middle finger. The Thimblepad has an adhesive backing that sticks to your finger. When you are done stitching, you can peel the thimble off of your finger, and save it for next time you stitch. Kristine keeps hers on her scissors.
